Carnival Thank you

  

The Ferguson Fall Fest Carnival, held this Saturday, was a tremendous success. Ferguson Elementary would like to thank our enthusiastic student volunteers from Clear Creek High School, Clear Falls High School, and Clear Creek Intermediate to name a few. They helped with set up, game booths, painted nails, painted faces, colored hair and everything in between. We would also like to thank our parent volunteers who were present at class booths to assure that children would have a chance to enjoy the fun games.  The Ferguson PTA would like to thank our awesome Ferguson Elementary administration and teachers who donated their time and talent to help make the cake walk a wonderful part of our carnival. A special "Thank You" goes out to Mrs. Coroner our art teacher for lending her wonderful artistic touches to our game signs, photo cut out, and grade level plates.  Thank you to our choir and Mrs. Stoneberger for lending their voices to help kick off the Fun Run.  We would also like to give a very special "Thank You" to the custodians, who helped with set-up, breakdown, and cleanup of the event. We could not have done it without them. 

We would like to extend a big thank you to our sponsors, who generously donated their money, products and services to help make this event happen. Also, we thank the numerous companies for their generous contributions to our silent auction. We'd also like to thank the League City Police Department for helping to control traffic and parking at our fun run, keeping all our Sailors safe.  Also, we'd like to send a big thank you to Mrs. Hutchison for all her support of the PTA. 

Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the committee chairs and PTA board members, who spent months preparing for this day. Thank you to Melanie Younger (Carnival Chairperson) and all her wonderful committee chairs and PTA volunteers; Christina Kurelic (Silent Auction); Jacklyn Stewart (Marketing, Grade Level Art & Room Rep Coordinator); Angela Ford  (Prizes & Grade Level Art); Stephanie Sanders (Crafters & Vendors); Kristy Higginbotham & Kelly Burse (Tickets); Lyndsey Low & Emily Lucas (Shirts); Jennifer Ibarra & Amber Koons (Color Run); Nicole Burdick (Grade Level Baskets); Lyndsey St. George (Spin-A-Toy); Meegan West (Novelties), Nancy Mills & Crystal Williams (Games); Anissa Leaseburg (Food); Tina Seybert (Volunteers); Melissa & James Teets (Dad's Watch), Keisha Chadwell (Communications); Nicole Gonzales (Yearbook); Kirsten Phillips (Thank You's) & Mary Dean (Treasurer). Without such a wonderful PTA board none of this would have been possible!

And most of all, we'd like to thank all the families & students that spent the day enjoying the Fall Fest & Fun Run with us!
